Lynda has photographed seniors from many high schools in central Iowa and the surrounding midwestern states. She offers a fun, relaxed atmosphere where time is not an issue and there is no waiting. Seniors are encouraged to bring along a friend, pet, collection, bike, vehicle, or whatever that makes your senior portrait truly one of a kind. There are always refreshments available and the candy dish is always full. Lynda will listen to your ideas and help you with posing for a great look.

Tips for Girls...

Consider the type of moods you want captured. We will help you at this stage to create balance and color harmony. Remember, clothing should be flattering but not overpowering. Often, the best policy is to bring extras and we will help you decide at your session.
If you wear glasses, bring empty frames to avoid reflection and distortions of the facial lines.
If getting a new hairstyle, have it done a few days ahead to avoid the "just sheared" look. Changing your hairstyle during your session can add a little more variety to your photographs. It should, however, be a simple change that can be done quickly.
Keep makeup as usual or slightly heavier, except for mascara.
Apply two coats of mascara - top and bottom lashes, avoiding "clumps".
Be careful of sunburns. A healthy summer tan photographs well.
Come to relax and enjoy the session! It won't hurt, we promise!

Tips for Boys...

Avoid getting a haircut the week before your session.
Make sure you are clean-shaven. Beards, goatees, etc. should be trimmed to your liking.
If you wear glasses, bring empty frames to avoid reflection and distortions of the facial lines.
We suggest you bring several outfits if you are unsure of what looks best, and we'll help you if you wish. Varying your outfits; dressing up and dressing casual add variety to your session.
Make sure your shirt is pressed to avoid wrinkles.
Come to relax and enjoy the session! It won't hurt, we promise!
